Cymerwch Ran... Be Involved...

The main aim of this club is to help people to get involved with The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, mainly at gold level, and help them to complete the expedition section of the award. For the coming academic year (2005/2006) it is planned to increase this either to help at other levels of the award or to help with the other sections which need to be completed, depending on the needs of those who join.

In the past academic year the society successfully got 6 people through their expedition, along with one ready to do the final expedition and several others ready to do their full 4 day practice. To get the participants through the expedition all the necessary training is carried out as well as the organisation of a certificated first aid course and day walks/expeditions.
