The Indian Society is part of the Students' Union at Bangor University. The membership is open for all the students and staff with out any discrimination. The Society aims to foster good understanding of Indian culture and tradition among the members through many activities. The Indian Society of Bangor was set up in 2004 by a group of enthusiastic students and staff with a view to act as a support group to the students from the Indian subcontinent and to promote the rich & diverse Indian culture in Bangor. Membership of the Society is open to students & staff of any nationality who are interested in Indian culture.
