Training Facilities
Maes Glas is the University’s sports complex and is located on the Ffriddoedd site. The majority of the sporting facilities are located in or around the complex including the Rugby, Football and Hockey pitches, an indoor climbing wall, squash and tennis courts, 2 large sports halls, a gymnasium, a weights and a CV room.
Through the reception and booking proceedures clubs may also use the facilites on the Normal Site, which include two smaller sports halls and a large hall.
Outdoor Pursuits
Bangor is ideally located for the outdoor sport enthusiast and the person who just enjoys being out and about. We are located between a rock (Snowdonia) and a wet place (Menai Straits) which means if you fancy a walk or paddle you can be out there doing it within minutes!
